  Jan 12, 2017  I'm using parallels 12 and have just installed windows 10. Everything is working perfectly except for the screen resolution. The resolution is stuck at 1024x768 and the option to change it is grayed out. The display driver is showing as 'Microsoft basic display driver' and my monitor is showing as a generic non-PnP monitor. To check scaling options right click on Windows Desktop-> Screen resolution-> Make text or other items larger or smaller and set 200% scaling: [!] Setting 200% scaling in the virtual machine will also fix small fonts symptom, but if you still experience an issue with small fonts in a particular Windows program, please visit KB119926. When the virtual machine runs in Full Screen view mode, the Dynamic Resolution automatically adjusts guest OS screen resolution to match Mac native screen resolution. To disable the Dynamic Resolution feature in Full Screen mode: Start Parallels Desktop. Go to your virtual machine's Configuration > Options tab > Full Screen. Change screen resolution in yahoo.
